Features

Anonymity

The app Paprika is primarily featured by its focus on anonymity. In order to provide users with a feeling of comfort and safety about presenting their outfits, the app will be designed to prohibit faces from the pictures uploaded. By concentrating solely on the dressing itself and not showing faces or personal information, the users can be protected from possible personal assaults and hateful comments. However, some personal information such as email addresses are still needed for signing up, just in case that any inappropriate content might be uploaded.

Only preference, no comments

For the ones offering help on others’ outfit choices, there will be only two options presented to choose from, no extra comments are allowed. There will be an icon of paprika under each of the pictures presented, and the users can pick their preferred choice by clicking on one of the two icons. Since the process is simplified to the extent of only voting for left or right, no hatred or assaults will be possible within our app.

Timely and clear feedback

Paprika also offers categories for different occasions when uploading pictures, such as ‘night out’ or ‘job interview’ so that users can come with a clear purpose and receive useful feedback targeted especially for that occasion. By eliminating any complex and unnecessary elements from the experience, we aim to keep the whole process quick and simple, in order to guarantee the helpful and timely feedback for users in dressing emergency.
